GL169 - Designing and building the pendulum wave apparatus
The pendulum wave apparatus provides a striking visual demonstration of simple harmonic motion, time periods, and phase differences. It became popularised through viral internet videos. You will need a fair bit of patience when it comes to adjusting the length of each pendulum, but this construction method allows you to relatively easily fine tune each length.
