Main Duties:
- Prepare, set out and clear away equipment and materials for lessons (including checking and/or calibrating of equipment) in accordance with required timescales.
- Trial any experiments prior to lessons where necessary.

- Strong educational background in science, ideally with a minimum of good A level standard
- Relevant degree or equivalent knowledge through experience
- Experience in a laboratory, either academic or industrial
- Experience of working as a science technician in school or similar environment (desirable)
- Experience of using ICT effectively to keep accurate records
- Experience handling laboratory equipment or chemicals
